I clearly mentioned that this meeting is aimed at new members, taking note of their interests and the time they can spend for the activities that we planned. I was of the impression that this is not a monthly meeting to discuss about the previous month's decisions. There are no new members to discuss about their interest for being volunteers and forming up as teams. Dr. Sundar is the one who can spend time for medical campaigns. He joined us at the fag end of the meeting. Krishna Nag is interested in Medical cases and FDP. He is not yet subscribed to our mailing list. I have to add him today. Srinivas showed interest in medical campaign of the kind suggested by Sundar. He said that from the beginning he is interested in creating awareness to the public about various govt. schemes and also he is specifically interested in Self-Help groups. For WDP, Kasyap is the only volunteer apart from Suresh Adina and Chaitanya, the other two were not present. Kasyap told that as we are in mid-summer and every other organization put up stalls, he didn't feel that we can go for this project this year. It seems that he can go and work on it if our group insists on putting up the tents anyhow, means to take up the project this year itself. As these are summer holidays, there cannot be a concrete activity on Education for two months. With the amount of opposition for medical cases, it seems we may not take them up. SDP is about to complete (this is the statement for yesterday. As of now it is completed in a sense except for replacements for 3 students). So what are the tasks at hand? FDP - Krishna Nag opined that we should go for it after we register the group. He is worried of the fact that if some unfortunate incident happens, they may complain that because of the food that we distributed, it happened. Ofcourse I convinced him that this need not be the case. Anyways as we do not have team, we cannot discuss much on it. Coming to Old Dress Distribution, we decided to collect dresses. I mentioned that you, Suresh garu and Kasyap are taking care of the kids of age below 3 years.
