Hello Karthik, Thanks for bringing this up.
For point 1, I know the answer but I wish Pavan himself mail about it to the group. For point 2, among the other groups only FRF is very active. This also I wish FRF mails to us. I will ask them to send a mail to me to be posted to our group. Every other group has the problem of volunteers. Many are ready to give money but couldn't spare time. What I personally feel is that if team structure is created, guidelines are formed and volunteers start doing and recording things, others too will get inspired and motivated. I actually wanted to send a mail to each and every Hyderabad member with the following questions: 1. Why are they not active? 2. What do they think is the problem, if any, with the group? 3. If there is not enough motivation, what is it that gets them motivated? 4. What are their suggestions to make the group and the volunteers active? For point 3, we decided to have a Program Manager sort of person for each team whose main job is to see that the scheduled activities go with the plan. As far as the Appreciation and Recognition are concerned, I didn't get you. From the initial days of the group till now, we appreciated and recognized every volunteer who put in their efforts. Please be more specific on what exactly you mean by appreciation and recognition. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
