Hi TMAD members, Well I have got few ideas about the project proposal. As already you planned to actively participate in BOSF by TMAD members, I think taking BOSF itself as a project would be a fair choice keeping in view of the common resources.
Well one idea is adopting a considerable size of population such as a slum near Kukatpalli or an underdeveloped area and trying to meet all their needs in all sectors like in education, health, empowerment, environment of all available modes of improving their standards in a set time through our helping hand. Here what we can do is finding all their problems and then for every problem, trying to find out all the concerned organizations or NGOS working on it and coordinating and merging their activities for an effective output. In the process, we can get the very basic experience which is vital when we are about to meet the later stages. In the above method, we can get maximum results as we tend to get local people support more and also can effectively utilize the support. Because many a times, when we moved to different sectors, often by changing the population area, we may have to strive for some other time for making the population confidant of our works and making a rapport. Second mode is taking BOSF as a project and for certain period like 6 months, take an issue related to one sector like education and setting an optimum results and merging the all NGOS effort. After that period and achievement of that target, taking another sector like health for a certain period. Till we met all the core period in a row for about two years more or less, we may have come through all sorts of experiences in all fields and unknowingly formed all team members. When we move to other sector target after finishing the present one, the people who worked on it and would like to spend their interest can continue the work in that sector. Because when we finished a target, our members strength is also increased. And for other sector, some other who are doing it exclusively or major interested will join us. I found one interesting organization when iam searching for another work, an organization which is based on Chennai works for the cause of bringing all together of all NGOS. The web link is below Confederation of Indian Organizations for Service and Advocacy (CIOSA) http://www.ciosa.org.in/ More or less, it has the same concept as BOSF. We can effectively achieve more targets than that if we determined to do. Its foundation is below mentioned http://www.themafoifoundation.org/ My opinion and impression is the same one to continue BOSF as a project. From other organizations which have some times approached me for health related informational and professional help, have stressed the same platform (BOSF) as vital and lifeline to all NGOS. They even wanted it deeply to come into front and promised to extend their support when BOSF need any help in the same cause they are working for. Another important issue is as I appreciate all of your effort for the wonderful contribution till the time you have given. It is a prospective and applaud able initiative to extend the work in an organized and on a huge scale. But before that, I want to give some of my impressions in the way we have to move.
