Hi, definitely this is a good idea. Few words of caution.
(1) what should be the average age of the kids? If they have to be groomed until they sustain on their own, do we have long term plan ahead. minimum of 10-15 years. (I agree that research will bring clearer picture on this but this a strong pillar upon which we have to build). for most of us, hair will turn grey by then :) (2) Other than employees, there should be one or two dedicated persons working on this. There will be many challenges in day to day running of the home. Srivyal can share more thoughts on day to day challenges. These are two things came to my mind randomly. I too feel like supporting this completely but something is holding back. I don't think i can own up this project though i can volunteer. Regards, Ravi.
