Last sunday, the active OCMS Team members have attended an
interactive discussion with Sravan, Senior web designer and also a
person with keen interest in researching the technological advances.
Sravan works for Sum Total systems as a web designner.
As Sravan is one of my colleague, when I worked as medical domain
professional for a medical technology MNC in Hyderabad, I have a good
rapport with him. In that connection, I introduced him to TMAD group.
Prasanthi, myself and Sravan and few other members also meet in
Dhatri clinic. Infact that is my first time interaction with
Prasanthi or any other TMAD member in Hyderbad.
Sravan is also interested in helping people. I know him personally
helping many people. I observed it when I was working with him.
I have seen the OCMS project technologies related to what he does in
his professional career. As he also belongs to Nellore and visits
often once in a fortnight, whether he can be helpful to the OCMS
team. He immediately accepted and wished to guide these students in
the time he visits here.
The following are the points and discussions went on yesterday

1) Initially the team got introduced to Sravan.The members that
attended the meet are Sai Prasad, Lakshmi Prasanna,
Vaishnavi,Vamshidhar Reddy,Sandip and myself. We met at Sai Prasad
home.
2) Initially we showed the OCMS home page for an overview to Sravan.
He liked the idea as he also worked extensively on open sources
technologies. Infact the electronic medical health records where we
both worked builded on open sources technologies only.
3) He then have a general discussion on various prospects in these
technologies.
4) He explained the students how the internet revolutions has
transformed in several steps to the present status now. From internet
start,paid mails to open sources. Thus students have known the growth
of technologies and how they are moving.
5) He explained about various open sources technologies to the
students. Like I heard Java, Linux, Mysql, AJax,PHP,HTML,web2.2 etc.
Infact he exlained where the particular technology is in
particularly helpful I mean the technology relevance.
Students also come to known that even technoogy companies other
than open sources also released the technologies compatible to open
sources like WAMP from windows,Sprey etc.
6)How general internet related web tools technologies become a
necessary part and how we need to build them.
7) He has also expressed his wish to cooperate in this project in the
possible ways. He will guide all the team members in HTML fully,PHP
basic part and also about open source technologies.
8)He has also many video lectures related to these tools. He told me
that he will bring them when he comes back to Nellore.
9) As his family is in Nellore, he promised us he will guide the
students in his home like three to fours in the week he comes here at
weekend. And he will done it with PPTS,systematically in a sequence
with OCMS related technologies.
10) He will also see the possibility of any of his friends who can
guide on live about these technologies in Nellore as for some days
like ten to fifteen days regular class room before the project active
phase coding began.

These are the updates as of now with the OCMS team this week.

Thanks for the update Hemanth.
I will speak to Sravan, sometime this week. It is really wonderful
that he is giving some KT classes to OCMS team in nellore.
Yes, these sessions are of great help to the team. I am looking at
HTML, JAVASCRIPT related sutff from Sravan. PHP our guys have some
basic understanding. I would request the team to follow his sessions
or any help from Sravan like tutorials or media files etc.
I ll be back onto track of OCMS within few days. I will be working on
requirement analysis and high level design, data modeling, team need
to work on the web pages (html/javascript and php along with mysql).
Yes, we need to use AJAX, it will be both for learning and for
performance of the application.
Hemanth, I sincerly appreciate your support in OCMS stuff.
