Divya, They need some specific softwares like JAWS (screen reading software for windows). There are lots of tools build for helping the visually impaired people. And I think they already have the softwares. Few students learnt lot of things with JAWS. These guys are lucky to have really good memory power. you read them something for few times and they ll not forget it. They do not need to revise anything for exams :-).
As I understand we may not need softwares for this schools (Specially the ones like office etc). There are few computers and software CDs (brand new ones) still un-opened. they bought briailee aiding softwares already. There is a west bengal govt IT company who build software, hardware and sell them. you can find more about the tools here. http://www.webelmediatronics.in/brlads/ Little bit about JAWS. www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/software_*jaws*.asp http://www.enable-india.org/jaws.html They need us to read and record their books/guides in cassetes. That will be the main help we can do. Also they need big stylus and German slates.
