I think you're misinterpreting Jeff's response.  It was a somewhat
sarcastic "in kind" response to the previous post -- in effect,
chastising the previous poster for his harsh comments about the people
posting about the book effort.

I don't think posts about an effort to write a book about tomcat are
inappropriate here.  It's documentation after all, which is certainly
something people ask about here.

And as Jeff indicates, a yahoo group has been created for this effort.
It's called tcbook.  One can subscribe by sending mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]  Here's the web page for the group:
