ok, I now have concentrated in the config file. on my suse system the
card is accepted with the entry:
card "ATA/IDE Fixed Disk"
    function fixed_disk
    bind "ide_cs"

But the cardmgr from tomsrtbt now says:
unsupported card in socket 1
no product info available

(I have disabled the "Anonymous Memory" entry, in order not to load
memory_cs.o).
why can`t he read the cis information? :-(

Has anyone a running configuration for such a card.

Any help appreciated

Tilman
