I got some data on the number of new categories we've added over the last two years, just to the product "solaris":
total 94 categories ( active and inactive in solaris) The last few added are : In 2006 database 03-JAN-06 platform 20-JAN-06 sma-net-snmp 13-FEB-06 modverify 17-NOV-06 In 2007 , the list was slightly longer idmap 24-JAN-07 storage_sw 27-FEB-07 sun4v 03-MAR-07 xserver 06-APR-07 release_eng 11-AUG-07 locale 24-AUG-07 xvm 08-SEP-07 *comstar* 29-SEP-07 this was inactivated maybe created by mistake or requested by mistake benchmarks 01-OCT-07 These are just top level categories.
