Erm... the problem with the *roff files is that they ruin some kinds of
layouts. That was the reason why this stuff should've be killed-off by
now (e.g. no more *roff manual pages, one of the reasons why we're going
to add DocBook support to |libast::getopt()| (since this function can
generate manpages via options --man/--nroff form the builtin data)) ...
but there was a bug (erm... Michelle or someone else from the docs folks
may remeber what this was) which caused the whole idea to be reverted
until the bug gets fixed.

$ ls -lad /usr/share/man/sman*/* | wc -l
     780
... but it was a _lot_ more in earlier Solaris releases (a result of the
bug note above).
