Hi Michael, there is an extension point org.topbraidcomposer.gef.graph.drivers. It's mainly used by SPARQLMotion right now, which adds its own buttons to the tools bar of the graph view. However, I would not consider this extension point stable at this point, and therefore don't really recommend using it.
Assuming that your main question is resolved with BMP (see previous email), you may not actually need this any more?
