I've been maintaining a list of details I'd like to work through. I just
had a brain-wave about your paste-patch-to-clipboard issue. This
would actually be pretty straightforward. The history.py dialog can
already write data to the clipboard, so that problem has been solved.
status.py just needs to lookup the chunk structure (the index is in the
data model already) and call it's write method onto the clipboard.
We just need a context menu or some other mechanism to trigger it.
It's bedtime here. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.
