I tried your solution after fixing the command line which I guess was supposed to be: hg.exe log -r %HG_NODE% -v > C:\test.txt and it works, I also tried my own hook and now it also works. I don't know what was the change in 0.7.1 that fix this bug though, but maybe you have an idea. :-) So we can mark this bug as resolved.
