DannyWan on Fri, 10 Apr 2009 04:30:50 +0200: Comment: Hi Steve, More bad news to come: we tried to reproduce the bug on 2 other PC and we didn't succeded. It seems this bug only appear on one specific PC. Though, we don't know yet what is different on it. We try to uninstall and reinstall THG on this PC but the bug is still here. We checked the current working directory and it seems ok. But also, we discovered that it is not specially linked with the prexncommit hook. In fact if we just do a "View Change Log" from the THG UI **in the root folder** of that **specific repo **on that **specific PC**, then THG crash. I checked the hgproc.exe.log and the trace back is: Traceback (most recent call last): File "hggtk\vis\treeview.pyc", line 140, in populate File "hggtk\vis\revgraph.pyc", line 156, in filtered_log_generator File "mercurial\cmdutil.pyc", line 981, in walkchangerevs File "mercurial\cmdutil.pyc", line 229, in match File "mercurial\match.pyc", line 46, in __init__ File "mercurial\util.pyc", line 612, in matcher File "mercurial\util.pyc", line 594, in normalizepats File "mercurial\util.pyc", line 491, in canonpath mercurial.util.Abort: .hgignore not under root -- This is an issue notification from bitbucket.org.
