Weird as this may sound, in a way it's GOOD that you and others your age
were born when you were and are Madness fans, cos THAT testifies positively
to the band's appeal... does that make sense? What I'm saying is that if we
were ALL born in the same time frame (I'm 34 so when Madness first hit the
charts I was right about your age now), we would all be 30-ish or
thereabouts now and Madness/the fans would all be lumped together as a bunch
of middle-ages blah blah blah and all that! Whereas things being the way
they are, I'm actually pleased AND proud that young-er fans DO exist! Long
