oi oi, jo 'ere,
i'm 14, i got into madness when i was 6. my dad had bought divine madness
on video and i used to watch it, rewind it and watch it again, and also,
being a dancer, used to do the old dancing in front of the TV act! i soon
came to know just about all the words off by heart. as i got to about 10 or
11 i lost interested in madness because i wanted to be with the 'in'
crowd...er....but that's changed again over the past 3 years or so when i
got back into madness and went to 1 of their concerts last christmas. yes,
i get piss taken out of me just cos i have madness all over my design
folder, HW diary, etc. but i couldn't give a shit, half of the bands that
are around today won't be here in 2 years let alone 20!!!

i was wondering actually how al the younger members of the list got into
Madness in the first place. All that happens these days is that the current
'music' is thrust down everyones throats, and there is very little
opportunity
to hear music of yesteryear. I was 24 days old when The Prince was
released and I got into Madness when Divine Madness came out about 11
years ago, but is it only the recent revival that has got you lot into
MAdness, or was it mad parents, or what? Just interested.
