I also have a pair of Sennheiser headphones, they sound wonderful with the Touch. I've done some comparisons with a couple external amps and direct into the Touch. Its a tough decision. A really good amp is better than the one in the Touch, BUT you have a set of wires and connectors in between which aren't there in the Touch. A really good headamp and really good interconnects will sound slightly better but its close. With less than great external equipment, just plug them in direct and enjoy.
