Having received my Touch this week I think it is good but not great. I think the size is wrong for what it is designed to be and maybe should be closer to that of the Sony Dash. I agree it is hard to read from a distance and will probably go back to my SB3 and put the Touch somewhere else.
Also in v2 of the product many of the LCD issues would go away if OLED was used.
