You can fix the viewing angle by attaching something to the rear bar of the Touch. I put little stick-on rubber feet.
As for the size of the screen, I personally would not want a screen that made the Touch any larger in physical size or more expensive. You know prior to devices like the Touch, devices much more expensive than it could not even tell you what song was playing at ALL :), heck some could not tell you which track you were on! However I would strongly recommend that if seeing the display from your listening position is critical that the best option would be to get the cheapest ipod touch and install iPeng.
