I use the Duet remote to control the Touch. It works fine. I actually sold my Duet receiver and kept the controller. (The Duet controller also works fine with my SB3 in a second system and the Radio in the kitchen.)
I'm in the same boat with you and a lot of others. I consider the Touch's screen and touch capability pretty much superfluous. It is rare that I look at the Touch (it is behind my listening position) and rare that I control any aspect of the Touch's operation with its screen. That doesn't bother me too much as one gets "extras" one never uses with many products these days, especially technology ones. The only time I get annoyed is when the extras interfere with the fundamental operation. That's not been a problem for me as I use the Touch with an external server and it performs its player obligations extremely well. (I would not be so happy if I used a USB drive directly....) -- mlsstl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mlsstl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9598 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78066 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
