Has somebody with this problem actually filed a bug report on it ? Posting on the forum disappears fast into oblivion.
If the devs does not know they won't fix it. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/ Instructuions and considerations from logitech http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74846 Basically they want a detailed enough report so they can reproduce the problem at their end. Exact version of everything involved etc just common sense . IF your read around in the wiki and in different posts, you realize that they have a pile of different harddrives to try with, but not all of them. And all drives won't work. http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Squeezebox_Touch_as_a_Home_Music_Server Far to many USB drives breaks the spec and are not USB certified, In reality they draw to much power trough the USB. Warning sign if your drive came with an extra USB cable that ends in an DC power plug. If it has an external power supply you should use it.
