Hi guys Just set up my new SBT lastnight for the first time. Plugged it in and could see my wireless network but symbol was greyed out and it would not connect - I was approximately 3 metres away from my wireless router - that's 9.5 feet!
After repeated attempts I placed the SBT 3 feet from my wireless router and it connected, updated to the latest firmware and did it's thing! Yay! I am concerned though. When the SBT is no more than 3 feet away from the router, you'd expect to see a much better wireless strength than 38% right?! I've checked online for any issues connecting to a D-Link router but no-one has raised any challenges. I'm now thinking I've possibly got a faulty wireless module... ... Any idea's? Could you guys who are using wireless PLEASE check to see what your 'wireless strength' is reported at?
