For reasons I can't begin to fathom, from the SB3 onwards first SlimDevices & then Logitech decided that the provision of an external aerial was unnecessary. They could at least include an SMA connector even if the aerial itself was an extra. It would save an awful lot of consumers having to resort to the inconvenience of hard wiring or the expense of Homeplugs. :(
Due to the lack of an aerial on the Touch, you're going to have to do all you can at the router end.
