yep, I may be missing it, but I don't see how I could have my computer/hard drives in one room, and then have bit-perfect music being delivered (via ethernet or WIFI) to the input of my DAC > stereo preamp several rooms away. Seems like with this device you'd need the computer very close to the stereo unless you were willing to run hundreds of feet of cable for the S/PDIF feed (and I'm sure there is a maximum reasonable length for S/PDIF cable).
