Well the Touch happens to get into a sort of damned if you do and damned if don't camp. No SBS or GimpedSBS that's what we can have with the current hardware ? Either of these decisions is going to annoy someone. My 0.02$ they should have killed the idea directly end never mentioned it loud again, and launched it 6 months earlier as a player only, hindsight you know ;) But there are people happily running ss/sc/sbs on NAS boxes exactly this slow or even slower and never complain ? And they actually tried to satisfy everybody with this player, for years they have been post here about why there is no self contained "computer free" solution, for no money of-course on no power use either and small? Now it's here exactly as ordered ;) enjoy ! Sometimes a wish come true... I think many of the regular forum members have spent many kilo words trying to explain why you can not have your cake and eat it, still there are new punters every week wondering why not a "My Book" or similar can be a server ? I'm very happy with it as a player for this money it performs very well I think. I would not expect it to even have a server for it's cost and size . And I would strongly recommend it *as a player* to my friends. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 and assorted amps SiriuS, Classe' Primare and Dynadio speakers, Contour 4 Contour Center, and Contour 1.3SE for the rear ch.
