I don't fully agree. While indeed I would not expect the full functionality
of the SBS server to be implemented in TinySC (otherwise why would it be
"Tiny"?) I would still expect that the limited functionality works 100%.

The current implementation of the TinySC however still has some rather
severe bugs. For example I find it not acceptable that it simply crashes
when you have too big WAV files or too big embedded cover images in mp3
files. It should ignore these files, but not crash. It also is really slow.
The combination of crashes and low performance means that you need to spend
hours (because you will need several attempts) to get the bloody thing
working (and several people reported this) .

To fix these real bugs, I think what we really miss is
1) a way to build the database for TinySC on a PC/Mac and then transfer it
on the USB hard drive. The question if that would be possible has been asked
here several times by different people, but so far I have not seen an answer
saying how that would work.
2) a way to activate Swap on the Touch. All the crashes that we obsevre seem
to be related to lack of RAM
