Hi there, I've just had the SBT for over a month, but already having some problems with it. I couldn't find my main problem in any of the 4st four pages so I thought I'd give this a go.
Before I start, I'm no wizzkid. At all. I'm someone who can really enjoy the fact that, for instance, when you enter a DVD into your DVD player, it actually starts playing the film. Next, I'm no abbreviation guy, by reading some posts I know what SBT stands for.. :(, so please bare with me. -I have an External Hard Drive (1.5TB) attached to the SBT. I'm still filling it up with music but there's hardly 3000/3500 songs on there yet. I've created folders on my Drive to sort them in categories, and that's where it starts: When there are a few, say 300+, songs in a folder, it doesn't connect to the folder and times out, saying it can't or failed to connect to the squeezebox server. But it's not logged out, I just go back and visit other folders that have fewer songs and it plays them without problem. I can also go by album or artist, but I can't enter my playlists and listen to the favorites. Should I change something in the settings perhaps? -Does a manual exist? When I bought it, the documentation said a manual could be downloaded from the Logitech site, but after I couldn't find it I called them and they said it doesn't exist and I should look here (tadaa) or on slimdevices.com. -The album covers don't match when playing a song. I actually don't really care, it's the music I want, but it stays on one and the same album cover (usually the wrong one). -So I've read on this forum that when using an EHD, the SBT adds 100 songs from that current folder to a playlist if there are more than 100 songs in there, correct? I take it this goes at random..? That's all for now, any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially stumped on the first item.
