I use a Controller with my Touch and a SB3 and am pretty happy with it.
(I sold the Duet's receiver.)

I'd give the Controller about a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. It works well
the vast majority of the time, but occasionally just isn't "instant on"
fast enough, such as when you need to turn the volume down because the
phone is ringing, etc. (I've got the wireless always on in the power
settings, so that's not the issue.) And, periodically it'll reboot for
no apparent reason. (But then MS Windows can do the same and Microsoft
has a lot more resources to throw at things than Logitech.)

I find it a pretty good way to access my music collection; it looks
good and has some nice features. It just has an underlying hint of
flakiness that keeps it out of the top tier of "neat things."

As much as I like my Touch as a NMP, the unremitting hassle of Tiny SBS
is several orders of magnitude worse than the Controller.
