Sure, its called a vortexbox appliance. 

The processor and memory in the Touch are soldered in, you can't just
replace them like you can with a PC. It would take a different design
to do so. Nobody has any idea whether Logitech is working on a beefed
up Touch, my guess is probably not, but thats just a guess.

The best bet is to use an external server that already has the faster
processor and more memory. A sheevaplug costs $100 and takes only a few
watts, you can just leave it on all the time. A fitpc running vortexbox
software also makes a REALLY nice small low power server, but its
several times the price of the sheevaplug. 

If you really want a better performing server than the builtin one,
using an external server is your only bet right now. There is no way to
upgrade a Touch, and don't hold your breath for a new model.
