I understand people who just want a single player not wanting to deal with a separate server. What I do not understand is people who want multiple devices sharing the same library and not wanting a dedicated music server. When you start getting 100s of gigs of music, what is your backup plan for that data. The touch does not provide any good means to backup the data, sure you can access it via SMB shares but I can not imagine what trying to backup 100s of gigs through that would do to that little cpu.
