I've seen the "Out of Stock" message too. I didn't know what was going on, so I asked various people within Logitech.
We are indeed out of stock, but will have more within the next few days. Our September shipment of Touch players for the United States was supposed to arrive from the factory earlier this month but has been delayed. They're now on an airplane and should be entering the United States today (September 30, 2010). Hopefully they'll be sending out all backordered units to customers sometime next week. In the meantime, if you want one you should place an order now and they'll ship it out soon. Sorry for the confusion.
