Couldn't agree more. I've conducted the same sort of comparisons using other disc transports (Marantz universal & Bel Canto) and a different DAC (Benchmark) and with the transports and the Touch feeding the same DAC no matter how hard I try I cannot hear any definite differences and on those few occasions when I thought I have heard a difference my preference has gone with the Touch. 96/24 FLACS via the Touch sound at least as good as any SACDs or high res DVD-As I've played through my system, and I have played (and own) quite a few. I have been able to directly compare many of the DVD-As with the Touch as I have ripped the tracks and played them through the Touch comparing the disc playback at the same time. Great to see that TAS showed consistency between its review and its recommended components list. Hope Stereophile takes note. -- KGJ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ KGJ's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37772 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82527 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
