I doubt that it has anything to do with the quality of my ears. I
suspect that it much more to do with the quality of my vinyl playback
system, which I feel ranks somewhere above modest but well below state
of the art. In any event many times when I'm playing some vinyl I often
ask myself just what did they need CDs for anyway. I'm speaking strictly
in terms of sound quality since digital is far superior to analog in
term of storage, just not in terms of sound quality - equal to, sure
but superior to it's a coin flip to my ears.
