Even though Stereophile by now notorious "Class D" has stolen the
headlines, one would hope people actually focused on the reviews
themselves (both Stereophile's and TAS's), which are extremely
positive.

After three weeks of listening through the Touch as a transport into
the DAC of my Cambridge Azur 840C and comparisons with both the Oppo
BDP-83 and the Azur 840C used as transports into the same DAC, I have
to agree that most of the time I can't tell the difference in terms of
sound quality. In those instances where I can, I prefer the sound
through the Touch: a tad more "musical," with more "air," and generally
more lifelike.

And indeed 96/24 FLACs through the Touch are by far the most satisfying
sound I ever listened to through my system.
