I have a SB Touch and love it for redbook CDs. However I cannot play 24/96 files. I have downloaded multiple free samples from the net including the HD tracks sampler in 24/96 FLAC. The server recognizes them and the Touch plays them but there is no sound. Switching over to any conventional 16/44 recording plays just fine. It's as if the mute button is pushed (but it's not).
Is there a switch, toggle, setting I need to tweak to get 24/96 to work or is my player screwy? Any advice from the gurus? Should I reset settings? I'm using the Touch via digital out into a Meridian G61R. I have zero problems using 16 bit FLACs.
