I am thinking about using WD external discs Elements 1TB. There should be no hidden partition and no 'fantastic' WD software as should be in higher editions. I am using an old 160GB PATA HD now - no problems, but sometimes I have to start playing music several times. What I do not like, that is that after correct stopping server and HD after switching on SBT again, there is still a HD scan, that last several minutes. Is it possible to disable this scan?
