Toshiba had powered USB drives . I use Verbatim 1 & 2TB for backups
never tried them as disc for the Touch thou.
But the Verbatim drives are very easy to reformat and the "fancy"
software is easilly to get rid off (no weird powersvae features that
breaks spec), not as root-kit like as many brand name design drives.

In this case a very simple no name disk is probably the best you can
get.

Also any computer shop should carry simple USB chassis with power
supply that can house one 3,5" drive of your choice to DIY your own USB
drive.

Also LaCie and HP had/has powered drives .

I would not recomend the LaCie, One of mine actually had a fire in the
firewire port :) product support was a bit confused when i explain what
happened ?
