I disagree with you concerning the importance of file size. My personal experience is that with TinySBS, and the same number of tracks, bigger files (flac) means much more problems than smaller files (mp3) This is not theory, this is experiment. And the size difference between a flac and a mp3 is huge. Two more things 1/ the total size of the library does matter a lot Up to a certain size, everything is more or less fine. After that you have a brutal a massive degradation of performance. What is the total size of Garym's brother 50,000 mp3 ? -- nicolas75 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nicolas75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15823 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86446 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
