Hello,

Squeezeboxes, the Touch included, do not talk UPnP. At least not yet.
They require a special server software called SqueezeBox Server ("SBS")
running on a computer within the network for playing your local files,
or to connect to MySqueezebox.com ("MySB") online for internet radio /
online music services. The Touch has its own TinySBS which can be used
when connecting a storage device to the USB port, or using a memory
card.

The reason it sees the VortexBox is that it does in fact run SBS among
many other things. Just try on the browser on your pc:
http://[ip_of_vortexbox]:9000 and you should see the SBS Web UI.

Now, it may be possible, by manually configuring the Touch, to connect
to the Samba share on your Fritz NAS device, but that is not how it
officially is intended. You would need SBS running on your NAS. I don't
know if it is possible.
