OK, I ran into that STATIC thing you were talking about last night. But here is the deal. Yesterday while browsing through this forum I saw a "mods" link where the modder said to go into your setup for SBS and go to Advanced>drop down and select File Type> go to the FLAC section and change FLAC from Native to disable and this allows all the decoding to be done at the server. I did that and last night when I went to play music I've had for months occasionally I would get the big burst of static that you were talking about.
