Embedded art works fine, but every once in a while it can cause a little
problem. I recently downloaded an album from HDtracks that had embedded
art in each track. Unfortunately the art was 1400 x 1400 (238kb) and
the large size of the image caused SBS/Touch to have a big hairball.
The result was a huge burst of static when I tried to play the
tracks...no music whatsoever. I had to use MP3tag to remove the
embedded art from each track and then put a smaller jpeg in with the
traditional cover.jpg file and all was solved...So embedded art, unless
you put it in yourself and are careful with file and image size, can
cause this sort of issue.
