To put it into perspective, it is nice to sometimes listen to 24/96 files.
But the vast majority of recordings are good old reedbook CD , further very few are recorded in such quality that they merit from 24/96 treatment anyway. So you can relax and listen to the 99,9% available music that is not 24bit. I have a more relaxed outlook these days, I listen to music .
