My advice is to give up. Squeezeboxes, since their inception, have always been client/server devices. The Touch attempted to get away from this model by running the server internally. Unfortunately, the hardware isn't always up to the job.
Luckily, the options for an external server are many. You can buy a Vortexbox, a Windows Home Server, use a plug computer, put together a small, low power server, or a large powerful one, use an old Windows desktop computer, an old laptop, or just run Squeezebox Server on your everyday PC or laptop. -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89673 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
