yes, as others have noted. no computer needed. And for powered speaker recommendations, I use a pair of AudioEngine A5 power speakers in my weekend home and they can fill the entire house with decent sound (excellent sound for what they are). I use the AudioEngine A2s as computer speakers at the office, much smaller, and I swear they'd probably actually work in place of the A5's at my weekend place. The A5s are now A5+ or something (one better thing is that they have dual RCA inputs instead of the A5s which have a single miniplug that required a RCA > miniplug adaptor. Anyhow, with MOG and internet radio and selfpowered speakers, you have a very useful, small footprint system. The only downside I can see is that if you want to synch mulitple players, synching using mysb.com (no LMS running on local computer) is not rock solid perfect. -- garym *Location 1:* VB Appliance 6TB (1.10) > LMS 7.7.1 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Location 2:* VB Appliance 3TB (2.0) > LMS 7.7.1 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) > LMS 7.7.1 > SqueezePlay Retired: SB3, Duet Receiver Controllers: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.7 on Win7(64) laptop Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Additional Tagging - mp3tag ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92863 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
