I submitted a bug request to Logitech a few weeks ago about high res playback with AIFF files. They were able to duplicate it, but I have not heard back from them yet. So I was wondering if anyone here has any solutions or workarounds for this.
If you play a 24/96K AIFF file, LMS apparently transcodes the AIFF file to a FLAC, and a 16bit FLAC at that. Any way around that? If you set AIFF to native the Touch will send a full volume blast of noise out the S/PDIF connections. Also, does the Touch play 88K sample rate files? I went to play one (as a FLAC and as an AIFF file) and zappp- instant loss of synch on the DAC.
