Hello, Apologies for the many newbie questions. I ran into another problem today. The SBT player itself was working fine - I could stream Internet Radio without a problem.
However, the player didn't show in LMS or MySB.com. From the player's menu I went to the Settings > Advanced > Squeezebox Server, and got the message saying that neither the Logitech Music Server nor the scanner are working. I tried starting the LMS on the player, but it failed. Finally I had to reset the unit by restoring the factory settings after which I could see it on MySB.com. So a couple of questions: 1. What can I do (other than a hard reboot) when the player isn't found in either LMS or MySB.com? 2. Why the player have a Start LMS option? I thought LMS was a PC-side utility to simply connect/stream to the player.
