Success! What got me going was this: I first spoofed the MAC address of my SBT on my MacBook, logged into the ethernet and switched cables. The SBT was on the internet but unable to connect to my Mac's library using the wireless (not on the same lan). Borrowed an extra ethernet cable and connected the Mac through another ethernet port. My SBT is currently playing my library with no problems!
