Well, Im pleased to report that my Touchs buffering problem has been cured by a pair of homeplugs! Many thanks to GreyBeard for that suggestion.
I did try to get the wi-fi set-up working first changed the Ethernet cable; repositioned the router; changed the routers wireless channel. Nothing made a difference. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy a set of TP Link TL-PA251KIT AV200+ homeplugs.
