I am currently using a 6 yr. old 5.1 LG theater surround sound system which is decent but only has 1 audio input. I use an RCA splitter box to run an XM radio , Squeezebox Touch, and other devices but I would guess this lessens the quality of the audio.
I reviewed the Bose CineMate GS Series system at a local retailer and found the sound pretty impressive for a 2 speaker system. Not true surround sound as my LG but much better quality sound I believe. Only 2 inputs so it is also limited. Cost is $800 so not cheap. Does anyone use this 2.1 Bose system with their Touch and do you think it is worth the cost? Also would anyone have any other systems to suggest with similar audio quality at less than $500. I have a separate blu-ray player so it would not necessarily have to include a receiver or Blu-ray player.
