Simply the front speakers must be able to do voices in a decent manner , the midrange is most important .
On a tigth budget one migth have to weigth the need for sub for movie fun and front speakers that have some hifi like qualities regarding music ? decisions decisions . NHT is a good suggestion to :) as is B&W ,Dali ,Dynaudio ,PSB ,Boston ,Wharferdale etc etc But there are no shortage of good small speakers , to many brands to fill this tread with .
